. For most part the surface is all dirt and the stage climbs uphill almost all the way through. The drops at most places are huge and I recommend extreme caution while tackling this stage!! From Lingti to Sichiling the stage is run over a continuously winding road. Most of the turns are very sharp. The road surface is partly dirt and partly tarmac. The stage climbs uphill for the first 8 kms (all dirt) and then descends for the next 8 kms (all tarmac). The road at the top of the climb, near Dankar Gompa, is very narrow and winding. The drops at most places are huge.
