TERRAIN

Competitive Section from Shakti to Tsoltak
This stage is run over a long flowing stretches of road for most part. The stage has its share of sharp bends as well. Please don’t get caught out by surprise. It has many a sharp bend on the descent from the Chang La. The road surface is rough and undulating for most part of the stage, particularly closer to the pass on both sides. Lower down the hill, it is tarmac and is fast and flowing. After crossing Tsoltak barrier the descent is steep and the last 6 kms of the stage needs extreme caution. Overall, exercise necessary caution while talking the stage because it has elements that can catch you out easily.
